Detailed coverage of the powers and duties of responding agencies, and their liability in criminal and civil law. With specific reference to the 2004 CCA Regime, the course looks at the responsibilty to prepare for emergencies, the guidnace when responding, and the issues arising from multi agency working and responsibility. It addresses the risks of individual liability looks at mitigation of damage for those individuals and their host organisations.
